Campaigns need attribution context, not a record of every person who clicked a link.

Campaign reporting works when the question is stated clearly: which source and message brought useful traffic to this page during this period?

That question can be answered with campaign parameters, landing pages, and aggregate actions. It does not require following a person from one site to another or building an audience profile.

Keep campaign names consistent, document the naming rules, and show the limits of attribution. Honest campaign reporting is more durable than false precision.
