The smallest useful event model
A compact event model keeps analytics understandable, portable, and easier to protect over time.
The short version
Every additional event property creates another question for the product, the database, and the privacy review. That does not make detail bad, but it makes the reason for collecting each field important.
A small model can cover pageviews, page duration, source context, and deliberate actions such as a form submission or outbound click. The model stays useful because each event has a clear job.
When a new field is proposed, ask what decision it changes. If the answer is unclear, leave it out until the question becomes real.
