A calm landscape with a dashboard panel and a small sun signal

The short version

A browser script should have a small footprint, a clear timeout, and a failure mode that does not affect the page. Collection is a supporting system, not the reason a page exists.

On the backend, operators need the opposite kind of clarity: queue depth, rejected events, database health, and a way to replay or inspect failures without guessing.

Quiet infrastructure is not invisible infrastructure. It is a system with deliberate boundaries, useful logs, and enough signals to stay boring in production.
